Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare month-end and year-end financial statements.
2. Reconcile bank accounts and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.
3. Prepare financial reports and analyses for management review.
4. Maintain supporting documents for all financial transactions.
5. Monitor cash flow and cash management activities.
6. Develop and implement internal control systems to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Coordinate and review the work of other accounting staff.
8. Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
9. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
10. Identify and implement process improvements.
