
Rehabilitation Therapist
Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will provide physical therapy services to individuals with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and neurological impairments. The ideal candidate will be an experienced clinician with a passion for helping patients reach their goals and achieve the highest level of recovery. The successful applicant should possess an advanced degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university and at least one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Therapist. You must be licensed to practice in the state of Maryland, and certified in BLS for Healthcare Providers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team setting, are essential for this role. A commitment to providing quality care and exceptional customer service is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to individuals with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and neurological impairments.
- Use evidence-based practice and clinical expertise to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients and families on proper at-home care and exercises.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patients’ progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures.
- Maintain a valid state license and BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Bachelors Degree In Rehabilitation Science Or Related Field
Current Maryland Licensure As A Physical Therapist Or Occupational Therapist
Board Certification In Rehabilitation Therapy
Knowledge Of Current Rehabilitation Techniques
