Psych Admissions Counselor

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Psych Admissions Counselor to join the team at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. 1. Develop and maintain supportive relationships with patients and their families while providing comprehensive assessments of mental health needs.
2. Ensure that patient admissions are completed in a timely manner, according to hospital protocol.

4. Provide guidance and support to patients throughout their time in the hospital.
5. Refer patients to appropriate mental health care providers as needed.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient evaluations and progress.
7. Facilitate patient admission processes, including completion of all necessary forms and paperwork.
8. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs.
9. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
10. Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
