
Nutrition Inventory Specialist
We at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Nutrition Inventory Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will monitor and manage the nutrition inventory of the medical center, as well as provide assistance to the nutrition team. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for healthcare.The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in inventory management, a Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition or a related field, and a valid driver’s license. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to work independently, and has excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the nutrition inventory of the medical center.
- Provide assistance to the nutrition team.
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory of all nutrition related supplies.
- Create and maintain inventory reports.
- Perform regular audits of nutrition inventory.
- Resolve any inventory discrepancies or shortages.
- Work with other departments to ensure timely delivery of nutrition supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations.
- Maintain records of nutrition inventory, including expiration dates.
- Develop and implement innovative inventory management strategies.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and objectives.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to management.
- Ensure timely and accurate ordering of nutrition supplies.
- Monitor nutrition inventory levels, and adjust ordering as needed.
Strong Organizational And Analytical Skills
