Child Care Assistant

We’re looking for an experienced, compassionate Child Care Assistant to join the team at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. In this role, you’ll provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in our day care center while assisting their teachers and parents. Responsibilities:

-Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the day care center -Assist teachers in providing quality care to young patients -Help with activities and games designed to engage children and encourage their development -Monitor the safety and well-being of each child in the day care center -Assist parents in understanding their child’s needs and development -Ensure all equipment and supplies are maintained and up to date -Maintain a clean and organized day care center -Complete any additional duties as assigned by the day care center’s teachers and supervisors
