  1. Develop and implement innovative software solutions to enhance John Deere's agricultural and construction equipment and technology offerings.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to identify and prioritize software development needs.
  3. Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable software applications to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  4. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software development, and apply this knowledge to improve John Deere's products.
  5. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software to ensure high levels of performance and user satisfaction.
  6. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  7. Help mentor and guide junior software engineers to improve their skills and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  8. Communicate project progress and any potential issues or roadblocks to team members and management.
  9. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to gather and incorporate feedback from customers into software development processes.
  10. Adhere to software development best practices and company coding standards to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve upon existing software processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  12. Take ownership of assigned projects and see them through from conception to deployment and maintenance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Software Development, Preferably In A Large-Scale Enterprise Environment

  • Proficiency In At Least One Programming Language Such As Java, C++, Or Python

  • Strong Understanding Of Software Design Principles And Development Methodologies

  • Experience With Agile Development Processes And Tools, Such As Jira Or Scrum
