Job Description

John Deere Company is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Quality Engineering Intern to join our team and help us take our products and services to the next level. This position is an excellent opportunity for a college student to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, and the ability to apply them in a real-world setting. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of Quality Engineering principles and methodologies, and must possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize engineering fundamentals to develop and improve products and services.
  2. Analyze problems and identify solutions using quality engineering principles.
  3. Develop and implement quality assurance systems and procedures.
  4. Monitor product performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality objectives are met.
  6. Create and maintain reports to track quality performance.
  7. Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  8. Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices.
  9. Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
