Product Engineer, Turbochargers
Developing specifications and requirements to meet functional objectives including performance, durability, and reliability. Use defined processes and tools to conduct root cause analysis. Identify solutions that optimize the design for function and value. Coordinate with PV&V and suppliers to validate and implement the solution. Provide technical support to factories and supply management to assure the best quality of design and manufacturing is realized.
2 years of experience in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer
3 years of experience working with diesel engines, with a basic understanding of combustion, emissions
2 years of experience applying models to real word engineering problems
1 year of experience in problem resolution for component and system failure modes
Design or Development experience in Fuel, Air, or EGR systems a plus
