In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for our SAP system, specifically in the area of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).   1. Develop and maintain software solutions for John Deere's SAP system in the area of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
  3. Write and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable code in ABAP.
  4. Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and functionality.
  5. Work closely with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the PLM software.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SAP and ABAP to continuously improve and optimize our software.
  7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  8. Document software designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.
  9. Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements to the PLM software.
  10. Collaborate with other PLM Software Engineers to ensure consistency and standardization across all SAP solutions.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert for SAP and ABAP within the team and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  12. Adhere to company coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
  13. Communicate project progress and any potential delays or issues to project managers and stakeholders.
  14. Stay organized and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively to meet project deadlines.
  15. Continuously seek out opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Sap Development Using Abap Programming Language.

  • Knowledge Of Sap Modules Such As Mm, Sd, Fi, And Co.

  • Experience In Designing And Implementing Sap Solutions, Including Customizations And Enhancements.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.
