Job Description

At John Deere Company, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our mechanical and electrical systems. This position requires excellent problem solving and communication skills, as well as a strong technical background in maintenance engineering.We are looking for a candidate who is innovative and passionate about their work, and who can provide proactive solutions to our engineering challenges. The successful candidate should have excellent organizational and multitasking skills, and be able to lead a team of engineers and technicians to complete tasks in a timely manner.To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and at least three years of experience in a Maintenance Engineering role. Knowledge of the John Deere product line is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the efficient operation of mechanical and electrical systems.
  2. Provide proactive solutions to engineering challenges.
  3. Lead a team of engineers and technicians to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
  5. Implement preventive maintenance processes and procedures.
  6. Develop maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime.
  7. Prepare and maintain maintenance records and reports.
  8. Monitor and analyze equipment performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  9. Liaise with vendors to obtain the best prices for parts and services.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols.
