  1. Conduct research and analysis on current cyber security threats and vulnerabilities.
  2. Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on company systems.
  3. Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement effective security measures and protocols.
  4. Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts for potential security breaches.
  5. Participate in incident response and mitigation efforts.
  6. Assist in creating and maintaining security policies and procedures.
  7. Identify and report any potential security risks or issues.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  9. Communicate and educate employees on cyber security best practices and awareness.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Principles: An It - Cyber Security Intern At John Deere Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles And Best Practices, Including Risk Assessment, Incident Response, And Network Security.

  • Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Technical Skills In Areas Such As Network Monitoring, Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration Testing, And Security Software Installation And Configuration.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards: A Good Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 27001 And Nist Cybersecurity Framework, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Communication And Teamwork: As A Part Of A Larger It Team, An It - Cyber Security Intern Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Team Members To Solve Complex Security Issues.

  • Education And Certifications: A Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field Is Preferred For This Role. Additionally, Certifications In Cybersecurity, Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Or Certified Ethical Hacker (Ceh), Would Be A Plus.
