
Electrification Engineering Summer Intern
John Deere Company is seeking an enthusiastic Electrification Engineering Summer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Electrification team in developing, testing, and validating components and systems related to electrification. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and contribute to the development of our electrification solutions.Qualifications: • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit design, analog and digital electronics, power electronics, and electromechanical systems• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Previous engineering co-op or internship experience preferred• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or related field If you have a passion for engineering and a drive to make a positive contribution to our company, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, testing, and validation of components and systems related to electrification.
- Utilize knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, circuit design, analog and digital electronics, power electronics, and electromechanical systems to complete assigned tasks.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to electrification components and systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and improve electrification solutions.
- Develop product specifications and technical documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of test results and other engineering data.
- Develop project plans and timelines to ensure successful completion of tasks.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide feedback on project progress.
