
Electrical Systems Engineer
As an Electrical Systems Engineer for John Deere, you will develop vehicle electrical systems on Sugar Cane Harvesting equipment. You will work closely with supply management, quality, PV&V, program management, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development and continuous improvement processes. Develop electrical systems requirements in collaboration with module teams. Develop system level requirements and work with electrical system domain owners for Specialty Harvesting teams. Provide build support for mule, feasibility, durability, limited production, and production builds. Create and organize bills of materials for electrical systems on vehicles. Release components into the John Deere production system. Work with external (outside) and internal suppliers on components feasibility, development, and integration.
1 or more years of vehicle electrical system design and integration experience.
Experience creating and maintaining bills of material for vehicle systems.
Experience implementing systems engineering practices.
Experience leading design work performed by remotely located team members.
