1. Lead the product development efforts for our pet care brands, ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards.
2. Use your expertise and creativity to drive the development of new and improved products for our furry friends.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, packaging, and quality assurance to ensure successful product launches.
4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor products to identify new opportunities for our pet care brands.
5. Conduct research and testing to identify potential ingredients, formulations, and packaging options for new products.
6. Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient product development.
7. Oversee the product testing process, including consumer testing and regulatory compliance, to ensure product safety and effectiveness.
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to support their professional growth.
9. Work closely with suppliers and external partners to source and evaluate raw materials and packaging components.
10. Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on project progress and potential challenges.
11. Continuously evaluate and improve existing products to meet and exceed customer expectations.
12. Represent JM Smucker and our pet care brands at industry events and conferences to network and stay informed about the latest developments in the pet care industry.
