Senior Engineer, Food Safety

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with a passion for food safety to join our team at JM Smucker. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing processes and protocols to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of food safety. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement processes and protocols that are compliant with food safety regulations.
2. Monitor and evaluate existing processes and protocols to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
3. Create and maintain detailed records of all food safety processes and protocols.
4. Conduct regular audits of existing processes and protocols to ensure they remain compliant with food safety regulations.
5. Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure food safety regulations are followed.
6. Analyze customer complaints and feedback related to food safety and take appropriate action.
7. Liaise with relevant external organizations and stakeholders to ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
8. Investigate any potential food safety issues and take appropriate action.
9. Provide guidance and support to other departments in relation to food safety processes and protocols.
10. Act as a leader and mentor to junior staff members.
