5. Conduct sensory evaluations and gather consumer feedback to guide product development.
6. Utilize analytical skills to evaluate and improve existing product formulations.
7. Manage and maintain accurate records of all experiments and trials.
8. Adhere to all safety and quality standards in the development process.
9. Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients for product development.
10. Communicate and present findings, recommendations, and progress to team members and management.
11. Continuously improve and optimize product formulations to meet cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.
12. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective product positioning and messaging.
13. Contribute to the development of product launch plans and participate in product launches.
14. Maintain a strong understanding of consumer needs, preferences, and market trends.
15. Represent JM Smucker at industry conferences and events to showcase product innovations.
