1. Develop and implement internal audit strategies and plans to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
2. Lead and manage a team of internal auditors to execute audits and reviews in accordance with established timelines and standards.
3. Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to identify and assess potential risks and areas for improvement within the organization.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven insights and recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation.
5. Conduct reviews of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of audit activities.
7. Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in internal audit and data analytics to continuously improve processes and procedures.
8. Prepare comprehensive audit reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
9. Monitor and track the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective resolution.
10. Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
11. Provide guidance and training to team members on internal audit procedures, data analytics tools, and industry standards.
12. Foster a culture of excellence and integrity within the internal audit team and across the organization.
13. Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and data.
14. Support and participate in external audits and regulatory examinations as needed.
15. Act as a liaison between internal audit and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and business partners.
