Lead Analyst, Claims and Insurance Risk

We are looking for an experienced Lead Analyst, Claims and Insurance Risk to join the JM Smucker team and help develop our company's risk management strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claims and insurance risk management, a keen eye for detail, good organizational skills, and a passion for problem solving. The Lead Analyst will work closely with the Claims and Insurance Risk team to develop and implement initiatives that will reduce potential risks and help ensure the security of our company.To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of five years of experience in claims and insurance risk management. You should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and any additional certifications or qualifications in insurance and risk management are a plus. You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, loves a good challenge, and is passionate about making a difference. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement risk management strategies for the company
2. Monitor and analyze potential risks and develop strategies for mitigating them
3. Evaluate existing policies and processes for claims and insurance risks
4. Develop reports and other documentation to track and analyze claims and insurance risk trends
5. Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with the Claims and Insurance Risk team to develop initiatives that will reduce potential risks
6. Provide guidance and support on risk-related matters to other departments
7. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
8. Maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders
9. Train and mentor team members in claims and insurance risk management
10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in risk management.
