Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Aerospace Engineering: A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles Is Necessary For A Reliability Engineer To Understand Complex Systems And Identify Potential Failure Modes.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Aviation Maintenance Or Reliability Engineering: Hands-On Experience In The Aviation Industry Is Crucial For A Reliability Engineer To Understand The Specific Challenges And Requirements Of Aircraft Maintenance And Operations.
Knowledge Of Reliability Analysis Techniques: A Strong Understanding Of Reliability Analysis Methods Such As Failure Modes And Effects Analysis (Fmea) And Reliability Centered Maintenance (Rcm) Is Essential For A Reliability Engineer To Identify And Mitigate Potential Failure Modes.
