- Design and implement network infrastructure for JetBlue Airways, ensuring high performance and reliability
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing network systems to ensure smooth operation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations for network solutions
- Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations
- Lead and mentor junior network engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology, and make recommendations for incorporating them into JetBlue's network infrastructure
- Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure smooth integration and operation of network systems
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support and troubleshoot network issues outside of regular business hours.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Network Engineering And/Or Network Architecture.
Expertise In Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Complex Network Infrastructure, Including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, And Load Balancers.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Network Protocols And Technologies Such As Tcp/Ip, Bgp, Ospf, Mpls, Vpn, And Qos.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Projects From Conception To Completion.
