  1. Oversee and manage the reliability of JetBlue Airways' operations, ensuring that safety, efficiency, and reliability are top priorities.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve the reliability of the airline's fleet, minimizing disruptions and delays.
  3. Monitor and analyze data to identify potential issues and recommend solutions to prevent them from occurring.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate and address any operational challenges that may impact reliability.
  5. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and reliability standards.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with aircraft manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
  7. Lead a team of reliability engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve JetBlue's reliability standards.
  9. Work closely with other departments, such as Maintenance, Flight Operations, and Customer Service, to ensure a seamless and reliable travel experience for our customers.
  10. Communicate with senior management and stakeholders to provide updates on reliability performance and implement any necessary changes.
  11. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the reliability team.
  12. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to reliability.
  13. Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to develop and implement solutions for any customer service issues related to reliability.
  14. Participate in emergency response and crisis management activities as needed.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador for JetBlue Airways, promoting our commitment to safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Aviation Or Transportation.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Maintenance Or Reliability Role Within The Aviation Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Faa Regulations And Industry Best Practices For Aircraft Maintenance And Reliability.

  • Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Management And Problem-Solving.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
