- Conduct regular inspections of all areas of operations, including aircraft, facilities, and equipment, to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards or quality issues to management for immediate resolution.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive quality control documentation, including inspection reports and records.
- Train and educate staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that all employees are following established quality control processes.
- Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
- Participate in internal and external quality control audits and inspections.
- Communicate any quality control concerns or issues to senior management in a timely manner.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing the company to customers and other stakeholders.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the overall quality control system.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement and track quality control metrics and performance indicators.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in quality control.
Prior Experience In Quality Control: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Quality Control Role, Preferably In The Aviation Industry. This Will Ensure That They Are Familiar With The Industry Standards And Regulations.
Knowledge Of Aviation Regulations: A Strong Understanding Of Aviation Regulations, Such As Faa (Federal Aviation Administration) And Iata (International Air Transport Association) Guidelines Is Essential For This Role. This Will Enable The Inspector To Ensure That All Processes And Procedures Are In Compliance With These Regulations.
Attention To Detail: As An Inspector, A Keen Eye For Detail Is Crucial. They Should Be Able To Identify Even The Smallest Of Errors Or Discrepancies And Take Corrective Action To Prevent Any Further Issues.
Strong Communication Skills: Inspectors At Jetblue Airways Are Required To Communicate With Various Departments, Including Maintenance, Operations, And Safety. Therefore, Effective Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.
