- Oversee and manage the maintenance and engineering activities for JetBlue Airways' aircraft fleet.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the fleet.
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to develop and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify any potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and maintain all aircraft records and documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and technological advancements to continuously improve fleet performance.
- Participate in aircraft procurement and modification projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with aircraft manufacturers and suppliers.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Participate in incident and accident investigations and provide technical expertise as needed.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, colleagues, and regulatory agencies.
- Promote a culture of safety and excellence within the engineering team and across the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Aerospace Or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Aircraft Fleet Maintenance And Engineering
Knowledge Of Faa Regulations And Safety Standards
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills
Experience With Aircraft Systems And Maintenance Software Such As Amos Or Trax.
