- Coordinate and manage all aspects of aircraft on ground (AOG) situations to minimize delays and maintain efficient operation of the aircraft fleet.
- Work closely with various departments, including maintenance, flight operations, and customer service, to address and resolve AOG situations.
- Monitor and track AOG events, including identifying the root cause and developing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Communicate timely and accurate updates to relevant stakeholders, including pilots, ground crew, and customers, regarding the status of AOG situations.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to prioritize and schedule repairs in a timely manner, and ensure proper resources are available to resolve AOG situations.
- Analyze and evaluate maintenance data to identify trends and improve AOG response and resolution times.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of AOG events, including the cause, resolution, and associated costs.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve AOG response and resolution times, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to AOG events and incorporate them into the AOG management process.
- Train and mentor new AOG Controllers to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of operations.
- Act as a point of contact for AOG emergencies outside of regular business hours and provide on-call support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement cost-saving measures related to AOG events.
- Uphold the company's commitment to providing the best travel experience for customers by ensuring efficient AOG management and minimizing flight delays.
Bachelor's Degree In Aviation Management, Air Traffic Control, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Air Traffic Control, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Knowledge Of Faa Regulations And Procedures, Specifically Those Related To Aircraft On Ground (Aog) Situations.
Excellent Communication And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Remain Calm And Composed In High-Pressure Situations.
Familiarity With Airline Operations And Procedures, Including Maintenance And Dispatch Processes.
