- Ensure shelves and displays are always fully stocked with the latest merchandise.
- Receive and process incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain organized and efficient stockroom and backroom areas.
- Regularly perform inventory checks and accurately update stock levels.
- Monitor and report any damaged or defective products.
- Collaborate with sales associates to replenish stock on the sales floor.
- Keep track of merchandise movements and assist with restocking as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including stockroom, backroom, and sales floor.
- Follow company safety and security procedures when handling merchandise.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering any questions.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding stock levels and inventory needs.
- Stay updated on current and upcoming products to assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Keep track of stock levels and report any low or out-of-stock items to management.
- Assist with the implementation of new merchandising and stockroom procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Stock Associate Position At Jd Sports Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Knowledge And Skills In Reading, Writing, And Math.
