Retail Sales Associate

JD Sports is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As the face of our store, you will be the driving force behind our success, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers leave our store happy. The successful candidate will be able to provide an exceptional customer experience, possess a strong desire to exceed customer's expectations, and be an ambassador for JD Sports. To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales role, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers upon entering the store and identify their individual needs to provide tailored customer service
2. Display enthusiasm and knowledge of products and services offered in the store
3. Assist customers in selecting merchandise based on their individual needs
4. Process sales transactions using a point-of-sale system
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store to create a welcoming shopping environment
6. Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
7. Monitor inventory levels and order stock as needed
8. Provide training to new staff members
9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures
10. Upsell additional products or services to customers when appropriate
