Job Description

As a Loss Prevention Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and safety of our stores and assets.   1. Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies and procedures to protect company assets and minimize losses.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and address any security gaps.
  3. Monitor and analyze security data to identify trends and patterns, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
  4. Train and supervise a team of loss prevention associates, providing guidance and support in implementing loss prevention protocols.
  5. Conduct thorough investigations into any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, and follow up with appropriate actions.
  6. Collaborate with store management to ensure compliance with all loss prevention policies and procedures.
  7. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in loss prevention and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to loss prevention activities.
  9. Communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
  10. Act as a liaison between the company and law enforcement agencies in the event of a security incident.
  11. Respond to emergency situations and provide support and guidance to store teams as needed.
  12. Conduct regular audits of store procedures and physical security measures to ensure compliance with company policies.
  13. Handle any escalated customer or employee concerns related to loss prevention issues in a professional and timely manner.
  14. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the job.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve loss prevention procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and security of our stores and assets.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Loss Prevention: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Loss Prevention Or Security Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Should Include Experience In Conducting Investigations, Implementing Security Measures, And Managing A Team.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Loss Prevention Officers, Including Hiring, Training, And Evaluating Performance. Must Be Able To Motivate And Develop Team Members To Achieve Department Goals.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Operations: A Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Store Processes, Inventory Management, And Point-Of-Sale Systems. This Is Essential For Identifying And Addressing Potential Areas Of Loss.

  • Analytical Skills: Must Have Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail To Accurately Review And Interpret Data Related To Loss Prevention Incidents. This Includes The Ability To Identify Patterns And Trends And Make Recommendations For Improvement.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For A Loss Prevention Supervisor. Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Store Management, And Corporate Partners To Address Incidents And Implement New Policies And Procedures.
