Job Description

If so, JD Sports is seeking a highly motivated Learning & Development Partner to join our team. We are looking for a driven individual who can collaborate with retail leaders to design and implement innovative learning programs that support our employees' growth and development.   1. Collaborate with retail leaders to identify training needs and develop learning objectives that align with the company's overall goals and strategies.
  2. Design and implement effective and innovative learning programs that cater to the needs of different levels and departments within the retail organization.
  3. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skills and knowledge gaps, and develop plans to address them through targeted training and development initiatives.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure they are meeting the desired outcomes and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously improve and enhance the training programs.
  6. Partner with HR and other stakeholders to create a comprehensive onboarding program for new employees that sets them up for success in their roles.
  7. Coach and mentor retail leaders on effective coaching and development techniques to help them support their team's growth and development.
  8. Collaborate with external training providers to source and deliver relevant and impactful training programs for employees at all levels.
  9. Develop and maintain a learning and development calendar to ensure timely delivery of training programs and initiatives.
  10. Assist with the creation of training materials, including presentations, handouts, and job aids, to support the delivery of training programs.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert on learning and development strategies, and provide guidance and support to managers and employees on career development opportunities within the company.
  12. Track and report on the progress of employee development plans and make recommendations for further training and development opportunities.
  13. Foster a positive and engaging learning culture within the organization through effective communication and promotion of learning and development initiatives.
  14. Collaborate with the HR team to incorporate learning and development into the performance management process.
  15. Act as an advocate and champion for employee development, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Retail Industry: A Learning & Development Partner At Jd Sports Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Retail Industry, Including Current Trends, Challenges, And Best Practices.

  • Experience In Training And Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Designing And Delivering Training Programs, Preferably In A Retail Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Successful Learning & Development Partner Must Be An Effective Communicator And Able To Build Strong Relationships With Various Stakeholders, Including Store Managers, Hr Teams, And Employees.

  • Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Training Needs: The Role Requires Someone Who Can Analyze Performance Data, Identify Skill Gaps, And Create Targeted Training Programs To Address Them.

  • Proven Track Record Of Project Management: Jd Sports Is A Fast-Paced Environment, And The Learning & Development Partner Should Have Experience Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Meeting Deadlines, And Delivering Quality Results.
