In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our retail employees.   1. Design and implement comprehensive learning and development programs for retail employees at all levels, in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.
  3. Conduct thorough needs assessments to determine the most appropriate training methods and content.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development, and incorporate them into program design.
  5. Develop training materials, presentations, and other resources to support the delivery of learning programs.
  6. Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, both in person and virtually, to ensure maximum learning and participation.
  7. Oversee the evaluation and continuous improvement of training programs through feedback and data analysis.
  8. Partner with HR and other departments to ensure consistency and alignment of training initiatives across the organization.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to managers and employees on learning and development opportunities.
  10. Monitor and track the progress and effectiveness of individual and team training to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
  11. Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and training providers to source relevant and high-quality learning resources.
  12. Communicate and promote learning and development programs to employees and encourage participation and engagement.
  13. Keep accurate records of training activities and expenses and provide regular reports to management.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the learning and development function in the organization.
  15. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold its values and culture at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Industry: A Learning & Development Partner At Jd Sports Should Have Prior Experience Working In The Retail Industry, Preferably In A Similar Role. This Will Help Them Understand The Unique Challenges And Needs Of The Retail Sector And Develop Tailored Training Programs.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Training And Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Training And Development Principles, Methodologies, And Best Practices. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Effective Training Programs To Meet The Specific Needs Of The Retail Business.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Learning & Development Partner, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Working With Various Stakeholders, Including Store Managers, Hr Teams, And Employees. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Deliver Training And Build Positive Relationships.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Assess Training Needs, Evaluate The Effectiveness Of Training Programs, And Make Data-Driven Decisions. They Should Also Possess Problem-Solving Abilities To Identify And Address Any Performance Gaps In The Training Process.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Hr Or Business: A Degree In Human Resources Or Business Is Preferred For This Role As It Equips The Candidate With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Excel In The Field Of Learning & Development. Relevant Certifications Or Training In Training And Development Will Also Be Beneficial.
