Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team and help us drive the success of our store. As a Store Manager at JD Sports, you will have the opportunity to lead a team, deliver exceptional customer experiences and play a pivotal role in our brand's growth.   1. Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive store sales and increase brand awareness.
  3. Ensure the store is visually appealing and merchandise is displayed according to company standards.
  4. Train and develop team members on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  6. Create and maintain a positive and motivating work environment for the team.
  7. Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock levels at all times.
  9. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate company updates, sales goals, and expectations.
  10. Collaborate with other store managers and head office to share best practices and contribute to overall company success.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  12. Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations.
  13. Uphold company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  14. Ensure all employees adhere to the company's code of conduct and values.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve the store's operations, customer experience, and overall performance.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In The Sports Apparel Or Footwear Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Driving Sales, And Achieving Store Targets.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Motivating A Team To Achieve Goals And Objectives. They Should Be Able To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Handle Any Conflicts Or Issues That May Arise Within The Store.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Jd Sports Prides Itself On Providing Exceptional Customer Service. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Customer-Centric Mindset And Be Able To Provide A Positive Shopping Experience For Every Customer That Enters The Store. They Should Also Have The Ability To Train And Develop Their Team To Deliver The Same Level Of Service.

  • Knowledge Of Sports Fashion And Trends: As A Leading Sports Fashion Retailer, Jd Sports Expects Its Store Managers To Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends In The Sports Industry. They Should Also Have A Passion For Sports And Be Able To Communicate This To Customers And Their Team.

  • Business Acumen: A Jd Store Manager Is Responsible For Driving Sales And Managing The Financial Aspects Of The Store. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Budgeting, Inventory Management, And Profit And Loss Statements. They Should Also Have The Ability To Analyze Sales Data And Make Strategic Decisions To Increase Profitability.
