Job Description

Welcome to JD Sports, the leading retailer of sports fashion and footwear. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to join our team and help us continue to set the standard in the retail industry. As a Store Manager at JD Sports, you will be responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of visual merchandising and store operations. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about sports, fashion, and delivering an unforgettable shopping experience.   1. Oversee store operations and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the store on a daily basis.
  2. Drive sales and meet or exceed sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and motivating the sales team.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by leading by example and ensuring that all staff members are trained to deliver the highest level of service to customers.
  4. Maintain visual merchandising standards in accordance with company guidelines to create an attractive and enticing shopping environment.
  5. Train, develop, and motivate the sales team to achieve their full potential and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  6. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the store has adequate stock levels at all times.
  7. Create and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to increase footfall and drive sales.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
  9. Build strong relationships with customers and develop a loyal customer base through exceptional service and personalized attention.
  10. Conduct regular store meetings to communicate company updates, sales targets, and any other relevant information to staff.
  11. Manage and control store expenses, including payroll, to ensure profitability.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to identify potential opportunities and threats to the business.
  13. Represent the company in a professional manner and act as a brand ambassador at all times.
  14. Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  15. Generate reports on sales, inventory, and store performance to present to upper management.
