If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager at JD Sports!As an Assistant Store Manager at JD Sports, you will play a crucial role in the success of our store by supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. From coaching and developing team members to driving sales and providing exceptional customer service, this role offers a dynamic and challenging environment for those looking to take their retail career to the next level.We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with at least 2 years of retail management experience. You must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.   1. Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including but not limited to sales, customer service, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  2. Lead and coach team members to achieve their full potential and meet performance targets.
  3. Drive sales and meet or exceed store targets through effective merchandising, product knowledge, and customer service.
  4. Ensure the store is consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations by providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of store team members.
  6. Maintain a high level of visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines.
  7. Monitor and manage store inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
  8. Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement and execute promotions, events, and marketing strategies to drive sales and increase foot traffic.
  9. Ensure all store operations are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect among team members.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  12. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Assist in the preparation and analysis of sales reports to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans.
  14. Participate in store meetings and training sessions to provide feedback and share knowledge and best practices.
  15. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and secure working environment for all team members and customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Retail Management Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In The Sports Or Fashion Industry.

  • Availability To Work Flexible Hours: This Position May Require Working Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays, So Candidates Should Be Able To Accommodate A Flexible Schedule.
