  1. Greet and welcome customers to JCPenney, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  2. Demonstrate extensive knowledge and passion for fine jewelry, including materials, styles, and trends.
  3. Utilize strong sales skills to promote and sell fine jewelry products to customers.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service, building relationships with customers and ensuring their satisfaction with their purchases.
  5. Maintain a visually appealing and organized jewelry department, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
  6. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively seeking out and engaging with customers.
  7. Educate customers on JCPenney's fine jewelry services, such as resizing, repairs, and cleaning.
  8. Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and credit card payments.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current promotions, sales, and events to effectively communicate and promote to customers.
  10. Collaborate with team members and management to contribute to a positive and successful work environment.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
  13. Maintain a professional and polished appearance at all times.
  14. Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Retail Sales Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Sales Environment, Preferably In The Jewelry Department.

  • Knowledge Of Fine Jewelry: A Strong Understanding Of Different Types Of Gemstones, Precious Metals, And Jewelry Styles Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Also Be Familiar With Current Trends In The Fine Jewelry Industry.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Commission Associate, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Clients And Assist Them In Finding The Perfect Jewelry Pieces For Their Needs. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are A Must.

  • Sales-Driven Mindset: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets. They Should Be Highly Motivated, Competitive, And Have The Ability To Upsell And Cross-Sell To Increase Sales.

  • Availability For Flexible Scheduling: This Is A Seasonal Position, So The Candidate Should Be Available To Work Weekends, Evenings, And Holidays As Required. They Should Also Have The Ability To Adapt To Changing Schedules And Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
