Job Description

JCPenney is looking for an outgoing, customer-oriented Sales Floor Assistant who enjoys the challenge of exceeding customer expectations. As a Sales Floor Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to customers, stocking shelves, and helping to create a pleasant shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Responsibilities:

  1. Greet customers and provide customer service assistance.
  2. Stock shelves with merchandise and keep the store neat and organized.
  3. Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products.
  4. Assist with checkout and payment processing.
  5. Assist with any returns or exchanges.
  6. Provide input on developing customer service strategies.
  7. Work with team members to create a pleasant shopping experience.
  8. Ensure customer satisfaction and adhere to company regulations.
  9. Monitor store inventory and restock shelves as needed.
  10. Provide recommendations for merchandise based on customer needs.
