Sales Floor Assistant

JCPenney is looking for an outgoing and friendly Sales Floor Assistant to join our team! We are seeking an individual who is customer-oriented and highly motivated to deliver exceptional service. In this position, you will be the face of our store and act as the primary point of contact for our customers. To be successful in this role, you must be organized, have excellent communication skills, and be passionate about helping others. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 1 year of retail experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly upon entering the store and provide assistance as needed
• Answer customer questions regarding products, services, and store policies
• Monitor store traffic and proactively engage customers to ensure satisfaction
• Help organize and stock shelves to ensure product availability and a neat and orderly store environment
• Assist with checkout processes, including bagging items, handling cash, and accepting payment
• Assist with resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Participate in team meetings and store-wide initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and product information
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies
