Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate procurement efforts and develop new sourcing strategies.
- Monitor the performance of vendors/suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate and review contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage and track purchasing activities, ensuring that orders are placed on schedule and delivered on time.
- Conduct market research to identify the best products and suppliers.
- Analyze and report on procurement data to identify trends and cost savings opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective purchasing policies and procedures.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure effective communication.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
