Merchandise Assistant

As a Merchandise Assistant, you will play an integral role in helping to ensure that our store's inventory is up-to-date and well-stocked. Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate records of current inventory levels and order new merchandise when needed.
2. Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for future purchases.
3. Ensure merchandise is displayed properly and attractively according to company standards.
4. Assist with product launches and promotional events.
5. Work with the store manager and other staff to create and monitor store budgets.
6. Communicate with vendors to facilitate timely delivery of merchandise and negotiate pricing.
7. Monitor and maintain store safety and security standards.
8. Troubleshoot any customer issues or complaints regarding merchandise.
9. Ensure all store policies and procedures are followed.
10. Assist with training new staff members on store operations and procedures.
