
Manager Recognition and Events
At JCPenney, we are looking for a motivated and creative Manager Recognition and Events who will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of recognition and engagement activities for our team members. As a part of our People team, you will collaborate across the enterprise to ensure our team members are celebrated and recognized for their hard work and contributions to the company. If so, then please read on!Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field • 4+ years of experience in event planning or employee recognition programs • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to coordinate projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong organizational and leadership skills • Knowledge of best practices in event planning and employee recognition • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various event planning software
Responsibilities:
- Develop recognition and engagement activities for team members that are meaningful and align with company goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure team members are celebrated and recognized for their work.
- Develop and manage event timelines and budgets.
- Manage communications regarding events and recognition activities.
- Research and implement best practices in event planning and employee recognition.
- Coordinate projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Lead and motivate teams in event planning and execution.
- Utilize event planning software and Microsoft Office to plan and execute events.
- Monitor event performance to determine areas of improvement.
- Work with vendors to ensure all events run smoothly.
