As a Home Commission Associate, you will have the opportunity to assist customers in finding the perfect home goods and furniture for their space, while also earning commission on your sales.   1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding and purchasing home goods and furniture that meet their needs and preferences.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
  4. Maintain a strong knowledge of current home goods and furniture trends to effectively advise customers.
  5. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively promoting products and services and utilizing upselling techniques.
  6. Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track sales and customer information.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including product displays and inventory.
  8. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers.
  9. Continuously learn about new products and services offered by the company to better assist customers.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including pricing, returns, and exchanges.
  11. Demonstrate a strong understanding of commission structure and actively work to increase sales and earn commission.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
  13. Proactively seek out opportunities for personal and professional growth within the company.
  14. Represent the company's brand and values in all interactions with customers and team members.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Home Commission Associate At Jcpenney Must Have Strong Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Ensure Customer Satisfaction.

  • Knowledge Of Home Products: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Different Home Products Such As Furniture, Bedding, And Home Decor. This Knowledge Will Help Them Assist Customers In Finding The Right Products And Make Recommendations Based On Customer Needs.

  • Organizational Skills: This Job Requires A High Level Of Organization As The Home Commission Associate Will Be Responsible For Maintaining The Appearance Of The Home Department, Restocking Shelves, And Managing Inventory. They Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Keep Track Of Multiple Tasks At Once.
