  1. Greet and welcome customers to JCPenney, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  2. Assist customers in finding the perfect piece of jewelry that reflects their individual style and personality.
  3. Educate customers on the unique stories behind each piece of jewelry and the materials used.
  4. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and creating a personalized shopping experience.
  5. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively promoting and recommending jewelry products to customers.
  6. Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  7. Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit, and gift card payments.
  8. Maintain the appearance and organization of the fine jewelry department, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
  9. Collaborate with team members to achieve department and store goals.
  10. Uphold company policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales techniques and customer service skills.
  12. Attend training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  13. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working and shopping environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Sales Experience: A Fine Jewelry Commission Sales Associate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Success In A Sales Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Demonstrates Their Ability To Meet And Exceed Sales Targets And Provide Excellent Customer Service.
