Job Description

  1. Lead and develop a team of customer-focused associates to provide exceptional service to all customers.
  2. Ensure that all associates are trained and equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver a positive and memorable customer experience.
  3. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the customer service department, including managing schedules, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and monitoring performance metrics.
  4. Set and maintain high standards for customer service, and provide guidance and support to associates to consistently meet and exceed those standards.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in the customer experience and develop strategies to address them.
  6. Monitor customer feedback and take necessary actions to improve the overall satisfaction of customers.
  7. Handle escalated customer issues and provide timely and effective resolutions.
  8. Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and training to associates to enhance their skills and performance.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in customer service to continuously improve the customer experience at JCPenney.

Job Qualifications
  • Demonstrated Leadership Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Customer Experience Supervisor At Jcpenney Should Have Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role, With A Track Record Of Effectively Leading And Motivating Teams To Deliver Exceptional Customer Service.
