  1. Provide personalized beauty consultations to customers based on their individual needs and preferences.
  2. Stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends, products, and techniques in order to offer knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
  3. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and familiarity with all beauty brands and products carried by JCPenney.
  4. Develop strong relationships with customers by actively listening, understanding their concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Assist customers with finding and selecting products, including color matching and product demonstrations.
  6. Educate customers on proper skincare and makeup techniques and offer tips and tricks for achieving desired looks.
  7. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively promoting and selling beauty products and services to customers.
  8. Keep work area clean and organized, including maintaining stock levels and properly displaying products.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  10. Attend training sessions and participate in product knowledge seminars to enhance skills and stay current on industry developments.
  11. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing exceptional service and building long-lasting relationships.
  12. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Beauty Consultant At Jcpenney Must Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Assist And Engage With Customers. They Should Be Able To Provide Personalized Recommendations And Address Any Concerns Or Questions Customers May Have.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Beauty Products: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Beauty Products And Their Uses. This Includes Skincare, Makeup, Hair Care, And Fragrance Products. They Should Also Stay Updated On The Latest Trends In The Beauty Industry.

  • Sales And Upselling Experience: Jcpenney Beauty Consultants Are Responsible For Meeting Sales Targets And Promoting Product Upsells. Therefore, Having Previous Experience In Sales And Upselling Techniques Is A Valuable Qualification For This Role.

  • Ability To Provide Makeover Services: Many Customers Visit Jcpenney’s Beauty Department For Makeovers Or Consultations. As Such, Beauty Consultants Should Have Experience In Providing Makeup Application And Skincare Services, As Well As Knowledge Of Different Makeup Techniques And Products.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: A Beauty Consultant At Jcpenney Should Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced And Ever-Changing Environment. They Should Be Able To Adapt To Different Customer Needs And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. Flexibility In Scheduling, Including Weekends And Holidays, May Also Be Required.
