Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and maintain a safe and secure retail environment by identifying potential risks and implementing preventative measures.
  2. Conduct routine patrols and surveillance to identify any suspicious activity or behavior.
  3. Respond to and investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and other violations of company policies.
  4. Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and improve overall asset protection.
  5. Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence for cases involving internal and external theft.
  6. Utilize various technology and systems to monitor and analyze shrinkage trends and identify areas of improvement.
  7. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with lost and found items, directing customers to desired locations, and addressing any security concerns.
  8. Train and educate store associates on asset protection policies and procedures to promote a safe and secure work environment.
  9. Conduct audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to asset protection.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, investigations, and other relevant information.
  11. Work closely with law enforcement and other external partners to resolve cases and prevent future incidents.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in asset protection techniques and technologies.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  14. Assist with emergency situations such as evacuations or medical emergencies.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by store management or the Asset Protection Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Previous Retail Or Security Experience: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Environment Or Security, Preferably In Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection.

  • Knowledge Of Surveillance And Security Systems: Candidates Should Be Familiar With Operating And Monitoring Surveillance Systems And Security Alarms.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: This Position Requires Interacting With Customers And Store Employees, So Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential.

  • Detail-Oriented And Able To Handle High-Pressure Situations: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Handle High-Pressure Situations, As They May Encounter Theft Or Other Security Issues While On Duty.
