JCPenney is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Asset Protection Service Associate to join our team. As an integral part of our Asset Protection team, you will play a crucial role in protecting our company's assets and ensuring a safe shopping experience for our customers.   1. Monitor and maintain the overall safety and security of the store premises, including all entrances and exits.
  2. Conduct surveillance and observation of customers and employees to identify and prevent potential theft or fraudulent activities.
  3. Respond to any security incidents, such as theft, accidents, or emergencies, in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Work closely with store management and other team members to develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies and procedures.
  5. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any safety or security vulnerabilities.
  6. Assist in the training and development of store associates on security and safety protocols.
  7. Collaborate with law enforcement and other external partners as needed to handle security and safety issues.
  8. Use CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor store activities and identify any suspicious behavior.
  9. Keep accurate and detailed records of all security incidents and report them to the appropriate parties.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in asset protection and loss prevention.
  11. Maintain a professional and customer-focused demeanor at all times, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as all local and federal laws and regulations related to asset protection and safety.
  13. Continuously assess and improve security measures to ensure the highest level of safety and protection for the store and its assets.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
