As an integral member of our Asset Protection team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our merchandise, assets, and most importantly, our customers.   1. Ensure the safety and security of all merchandise, assets, and customers within the retail environment.
  2. Monitor the sales floor and backroom areas to identify and prevent potential theft or fraudulent activities.
  3. Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure all merchandise is properly accounted for and any discrepancies are reported promptly.
  4. Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement effective security measures and protocols.
  5. Respond to any security-related incidents or emergencies in a timely and appropriate manner.
  6. Utilize surveillance systems and other tools to monitor and identify any suspicious activity.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents, investigations, and actions taken.
  9. Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures regarding asset protection, safety, and security.
  10. Attend training sessions and meetings to continuously improve knowledge and skills related to asset protection.
  11. Conduct employee training on asset protection procedures and protocols.
  12. Work closely with law enforcement and legal authorities as needed.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times while representing the company.
  14. Adhere to all company guidelines and regulations, including safety and security protocols.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: A Strong Understanding Of Common Loss Prevention Techniques Such As Cctv Monitoring, Eas Tagging, And Inventory Control Is Essential For An Asset Protection Service Associate At Jcpenney.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Fellow Team Members Is Crucial For This Role. This Includes Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As Active Listening Skills.
