Job Description

  1. Monitor and patrol the sales floor to detect and deter any potential theft or fraudulent activity.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of high-risk areas such as fitting rooms, stockrooms, and cash registers.
  3. Utilize security cameras and other surveillance equipment to identify suspicious behavior or activities.
  4. Work closely with store management and other team members to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
  5. Respond quickly and appropriately to any security incidents, including handling apprehensions and contacting law enforcement when necessary.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents and report any findings to the appropriate parties.
  7. Train and educate store team members on security procedures and protocols to prevent theft and minimize risk.
  8. Conduct thorough investigations of any reported theft or loss and assist in the recovery of stolen merchandise.
  9. Stay updated on current security trends and techniques to continuously improve the store's security measures.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with any security-related concerns or questions.
  11. Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding asset protection.
  12. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by store management.
