
Asset Protection Manager

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of JCPenney's customers, employees, and assets.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Train and educate employees on security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance and awareness.
- Monitor and analyze security data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other security professionals to address and mitigate security concerns.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the asset protection team.
- Conduct investigations into theft, fraud, and other security incidents.
- Implement strategies to prevent and reduce shrinkage and loss.
- Maintain and update emergency response plans and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance security measures.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in asset protection.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on security initiatives and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to asset protection.
- Foster a culture of safety and security within the company.
- Lead and motivate the asset protection team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Prior Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Control And Auditing Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Train And Manage A Team.
Familiarity With Security Systems And Cctv Surveillance Equipment.
Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Trends To Develop Strategies For Reducing Shrink And Increasing Profitability.
