As the Asset Protection Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers, employees, and merchandise.   1. Develop and implement effective security and loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and minimize financial losses.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the asset protection team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  3. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with store management to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to security and loss prevention.
  5. Investigate and resolve any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring CCTV cameras, performing regular store walks, and enforcing safety protocols.
  7. Manage and maintain inventory control processes to prevent shrinkage and ensure accurate inventory records.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in asset protection and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies, external partners, and vendors to support the company's security efforts.
  10. Communicate regularly with upper management and provide detailed reports on security metrics, incidents, and trends.
  11. Train employees on security procedures and protocols and conduct regular training sessions to ensure compliance.
  12. Respond to emergencies and security incidents as needed, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of customers and employees.
  13. Foster a culture of safety and security throughout the store by promoting awareness and providing resources for employees to report any security concerns.
  14. Monitor and manage the budget for the asset protection department, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  15. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to security incidents and maintain proper documentation and records.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques And Strategies, Including Surveillance Systems, Inventory Control, And Theft Prevention.

  • Experience In Managing A Team And Implementing Effective Training Programs For Loss Prevention Associates.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Loss Prevention And Asset Protection.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Store Management And Law Enforcement Agencies.

  • Ability To Analyze Data And Develop Action Plans To Address Areas Of Vulnerability And Reduce Shrinkage.
