Job Description

JCPenney is seeking a highly qualified Asset Protection Manager to join our team and help us maintain the integrity of our assets and ensure the safety of our customers and employees. As the Asset Protection Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and implementing strategies to reduce shrinkage and promote a culture of safety and loss prevention. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong track record of success in asset protection, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively lead and develop a team.   1. Develop and implement asset protection policies and procedures to reduce shrinkage and promote a safe and secure environment.
  2. Lead a team of asset protection associates and provide guidance, training, and coaching to ensure their success and growth within the company.
  3. Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and take proactive measures to address them.
  4. Collaborate with store management and other departments to identify and address potential security issues and implement solutions.
  5. Monitor and analyze store data to identify trends and patterns related to shrinkage, theft, and safety concerns.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and other external partners to support asset protection efforts.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in asset protection and make recommendations for improvement or implementation.
  8. Conduct regular store walkthroughs to assess and identify potential security risks and take appropriate action to address them.
  9. Communicate and educate store associates on asset protection policies, procedures, and best practices.
  10. Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal regulations related to asset protection.
  11. Prepare and present reports and updates on asset protection performance to upper management.
  12. Manage and oversee the operation of security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, and access control systems.
  13. Respond to and manage emergency situations, including theft, accidents, and other safety incidents.
  14. Foster a culture of safety and loss prevention by promoting awareness and accountability among all store associates.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve asset protection strategies to adapt to changing business needs and industry trends.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Or Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Retail Operations And Security Procedures.

  • Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Trends, And Implement Effective Strategies To Reduce Loss And Increase Profitability.
