- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Investigate and resolve any instances of theft, fraud, or misconduct, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with store leadership to develop and enforce safety measures and emergency response protocols.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with local law enforcement and other external partners to address security concerns and incidents.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems and equipment, ensuring their proper functioning.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in asset protection practices, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Communicate regularly with upper management to report on asset protection performance and make recommendations for mitigating risks.
Knowledge Of Security Procedures And Practices: An Asset Protection Manager At Jcpenney Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures To Ensure The Safety And Protection Of The Company's Assets.
Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience In Loss Prevention, Including Knowledge Of Theft Prevention, Surveillance, And Investigations.
